X20 Xaviers on the Hudson
Rewind to 2009. Xaviers on the Hudson had gotten such rave foodie reviews that we took the 'rents and inlaws to celebrate a couple of years ago. Epic fail. They must have had their spare chef manning the decks, we were not impressed. We had already been taken in by the spectacular view when first arriving and had purchased a gift certificate for a cousin's birthday and now it we could only hope that the 2nd time would be the charm.
Fast forward back to the present, we finally got all our schedules together to celebrate the cousin's 40th birthday past 2 years prior. Fortunately the premiere chef was at bat and we had a scrumptious and cocktail enhanced brunch. So much food and all of it delicious. It was great to hand out with old friends last evening and just an nice to be with family today. July 2011 was a 6 of Pentacles month, and I got to be both the recipient and provider of riches.
